It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our much loved wife & mother, Karen, who left us peacefully on December 31, 2024 at the age of 60. A devoted wife and a loving mother, she was the heart and soul of our family and will be missed more than words can express.
Born on June 21, 1964 in Edmonton, Karen brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. She dedicated her life to raising her children and nurturing their dreams. Her unwavering support and boundless love shaped the lives of her children: Karly, Samantha, Jordan, and Edward. She instilled in them the values of kindness, resilience, sense of humour and the importance of family.
Karen is survived by her devoted husband, Shane, who was her partner in life and love. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with cherished memories. Her laughter, wisdom, and quirky sense of humour will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
In addition to her husband and children, she leaves behind her beautiful grandchildren Amina, Quinn, Willow & Roman & Alexander who were touched by her life. Each shared a special bond with her that will be treasured always.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at a later date where family and friends can gather to honor the incredible woman she was.
Her spirit will rest in the light of her Lord, Jesus Christ who will guide us in our walks here on earth in the days ahead.
