Junior Quinlan of Birchy Bay passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the age of 74 years.
Leaving to cherish his many loving memories, wife Alfreda of 50 years; children Jody, Jamin and Mary (Joshua) Arnold; loving grandchildren, Charity, Pleamon, Josh and Gunner.
Junior will be deeply missed by his brothers Harold (Judy), Leonard (Julie), Don, Dona (Hayward) Freake, Velma (Walter) Canning and Nora Quinlan. As well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Junior was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Quinlan; his daughter June; infant brother and sister Donna; nephew Jamie; niece Pearl and his parents-in-law Pleamon and Mary Quinlan.
Visitation will take place at Beacon Pentecostal Tabernacle in Birchy Bay on Sunday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, April 28th, 2025 with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Birchy Bay.
