Obituary of June Elizabeth Wade
It is with great sadness the family of June Wade announce her passing, with her “special” friend by her side, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sus, NB. Born on December 2, 1967, she was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Robinson) Martin.
June is survived by her children: Cheri Wade and Kenny Wade (Christa Kilpatrick); brother Noble Robinson (June), sister Bernadine Linden (John); 5 grandchildren: Logan, James, Lillian “Lily”, Thyrse and Malakai; along with many cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Milton Martin, father of her children, Kenny Wade and infant grandson Braxton.
June grew up surrounded by a large family, with her mother having seventeen siblings. June had 41 first cousins as she was the youngest of all of the grandchildren and was also known as the baby. She developed MS at a young age which made life challenging for her but even through her struggles, she showed love to others. She cherished her parents and looked after them during their older years. June lived at Green Meadows for 5 years and had a great friendship with Ashley and Lana. They enjoyed going on outings and buying her items. June developed a “special” friendship with Debbie Crossman who spent much time with her at the Kiwanis Nursing Home tending to her needs. Debbie made what would be her last Christmas a great day spent together. She will miss June’s beautiful smile and her kind, sweet way.
A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at the Kiwanis Nursing Home for the loving care provided to June during her short stay with them.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, and will be held privately. A graveside service will take place in the spring at Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point, NB.
