SUNSETH, June – June Elinor Sunseth, nee Burrell of London, passed away peacefully in the early morning of January 28, 2025 at University Hospital. June was the beloved wife of the late John R. Sunseth (2002), and loving mother of Lisa (Glenn), Steven (Nadine) and Paul (Kim). Dear “Nan” to seven grandchildren, Kevin and Scott Sunseth, Billie Lesage-Roswell, Tya and Tristan Jones, Madison and John Sunseth, and her great-grandchildren, Lexie, Lilly, Laney, Carter and Hudson. Daughter of the late Gladys and William John Burrell and sister of the late Wayne Burrell. Sister-in-law of Isolde Burrell of Port Perry and Karen and her husband Jim Sparks of Acton.
June was born in Toronto, Ontario in December of 1936. She married John in 1961, and lived in London for over sixty years. Known for her love of dogs, her pies and impeccable grace, there will be many who will dearly miss their “Grandma June.”
A memorial service will be conducted at Siloam United Church, 1240 Fanshawe Park East, London on Sunday, February 16 at 2 pm. Reception to follow at the church. Private interment at a later date at Siloam Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the London Humane Society would be appreciated.
