June Ellen Myers, a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the age of 77. She was a loving Mother of Reena (Adrian) and Leslie (Al). Cherished grandmother of Caitlyn (Tyler), Courtney (Nodin), Jay-lyn, Gavin, Jakob, Fallyn, Ej, Amber (Matt) and great grandmother of Rose, Rena, Orion, Mia, Jr., Travis, Dominick, Houston, Vincent, Navy, Mattic and Valleigh. June has now been reunited with her parents Peter Sr. and Rena Myers as well as with her brothers Peter ‘Butch’ Jr., Gerald and Jasper. She will be fondly remembered as a dear sister to Shirley, Donna, Peggy, Muriel, Trudy, Rusty and Eileen as well as by her many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends are invited for community visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 6-8pm.
