Julie Lupul Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of Julie (nee Schelstraete) Lupul announces her passing on February 26th, 2025, at the age of 86.
She will be forever remembered by her husband of 67 years, Allen; her son Allen Jr.; grandsons Connor and Hayden; sister Diane Batt; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Hector and Nellie Schelstraete, and brother, Hector Jr., and brother-in-law, Alec Batt.
Julie was an educator with the Edmonton Catholic Schools as a teacher, vice-principal and principal. She started her teaching career in 1956 and retired in 1993.
A Prayer Service will be held Friday, March 7th, 2025, at 8:00PM at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at 12:00 NOON at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 7508-29 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity that supports dementia research or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
