Julia Rose Perley
1958-2025
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Julia Rose Perley of
Edmonton, AB, formerly of Tobique First Nation, NB, announce her
passing on June 9, 2025.
Julia was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on December 26, 1958. She was the
daughter of the late Aubrey Perley Sr. and the late Marjorie Moulton.
Julia leaves behind her daughter, Mungwon Perley of Edmonton, AB; her
son Punikiok “Kiok” Perley (Kristee) of Edmonton, AB; her
seven grandchildren; her sisters, Carla Paul of Edmonton, AB, Hart
Perley (Tony) of Tobique First Nation, NB, Suanne Perley of Edmonton,
AB, Michelle Perley of Tobique First Nation, NB, and Erica Perley of
Tobique First Nation, NB; her brothers, Dana Perley (Sandra) of
Springhill, NS, Aubrey Perley Jr. (Dora) of Tobique First Nation, NB;
her brother-in-law, Reginald Traugh of Tobique First Nation, NB; along
with many nieces and nephews.
Julia was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Sharon Traugh; and
her brother, Claude Perley.
Resting at the Paul Pyres Community Hall at Tobique First Nation with
visitation starting on Friday at 12 noon until 2 pm on Sunday. Funeral
service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 11 am from St. Ann’s
Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier celebrating.
