Parsons, Julia Mary – Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the age of 72.
Beloved wife of James Parsons whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Loving mother of Caressa (Wayne) Jenkens, Mathias (Kelsey) Parsons, and Julia Cross. Dear grandmother of Isabella Cross, Conrad Cross, and Nicole Hopwood. Survived by her siblings Joe Noseworthy, Fred Noseworthy, and Clarence Noseworthy. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Noseworthy and Irene Costello, and siblings Alex Noseworthy, Walter Noseworthy, and Irene Barron. Fondly remembered by many extended family and friends.
Julia was born on December 25, 1952 in Spaniard’s Bay, Newfoundland. Julia was a devoted wife, caring mother, and cherished grandmother, whose presence touched the lives of all who knew her. She married the love of her life and best friend on December 25, 1968. She worked as a bookkeeper for the church’s Sunday School, where her dedication and faith were evident in all that she did. Julia was a woman of strong faith, and Julia’s commitment to her church family was unwavering. She was beloved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, warmth, and selflessness will be remembered, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, Woodstock.
