Obituary of Judy Francis
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Francis on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Beloved mother of Christina Hansen (Christopher) and the late Geoffrey Francis, Judy’s life was defined by her unconditional love and devotion to her family. She was a cherished grandmother to Brayden Spencer, Ty and Chloe Francis, and Lucas, Sawyer, and Ivy Hansen, who brought her endless joy and pride.
Judy was a dear and loving sister to Shirley Rowlands (late Harry), Eleanor Moffat (late Tom), and Peter Sandford (Judy), and a much-loved aunt to Shirley-Ann, Sue, Jim, Alice, David, and Linda. Her warmth and kindness extended to all her family and friends.
Predeceased by her sister Joanne Jaquith, her great-uncle Ernie Pargeter, and her parents Samuel and Helen Sandford, Judy’s legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Parkwood Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation – Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm and Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 10am-11am followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel. Inurnment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Following the cemetery, a reception will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 317, 311 Oakland Ave, London, ON N5W 4J5 from 1pm-4pm.
