Judy Lucy Brittain
1960-2025
With great sadness the
family of Judy Brittian announces her passing on Sunday, March 2nd, at
her home in Aylesford, NS at age 65.
Born in Bridgetown,
Nova Scotia, Judy grew up in a large family. After school she moved to
the Annapolis Royal area to start a family of her own. She devoted
herself to being a single mother raising her three children whom she
often praised. As her children grew, she later settled in Aylesford,
where she owned her dream home and a Harley-Davidson
motorcycle.
Judy worked as a
self-employed cleaner, taking pride in her independence and strong
work ethic. She was known for her generosity, hospitality and warmth,
having many close friends that were like family. Her happiest moments
were spent in the kitchen, where she entertained and shared her love
of cooking and music.
Above all,
Judy’s greatest joy was being a grandmother. She was
immensely proud of her six grandchildren and shared a special bond
with each of them.
Judy is survived by
her three children: Edward Clarke of Karsdale, Darlene Clarke of
Sherwood Park, AB, and David Clarke of Aylesford; her six beloved
grandchildren: Brennen, Callie, Scarlett, Sierra, Thayne, and Hayden;
and her siblings: Robert, Donnie (Angela), Debbie, Richard, Stanley,
Linda Wood and several extended family members. She was predeceased by
her parents, Russell and Marie (Robicheau) Brittain; her sister, Eva
Hill; her brothers, Arthur and Peter; and an infant sibling at
birth.
We will forever carry her
love and memory in our hearts and wish her eternal
peace.
Cremation has taken
place and a small celebration of life will be held at a later
date.
