Judith Vincent Obituary
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Judith Lillian “Jean” Vincent, at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre on February 8, 2025, surrounded by family.
Jean was born to Wilmore ( Bob ) & Ida Williams of Triton on May 15, 1947. She married her childhood sweetheart, Dexter, May 22 1963. They became a young family, adding five children, Dwight, Dwayne, Connie, Carol & Cathy. In 1971 Jean & her family relocated to Botwood where she resided until her death. Jean did not work outside of the home but was a dedicated foster parent, opening her home to over 100 babies, as well as being a long term residential care provider. Jean was blessed with two grandchildren Ashley & Tanisha who truly were the greatest joy of her life. She could often be found in the kitchen, wearing her apron and whether she was baking bread or cooking Sunday dinner she was always adamant that no one would leave hungry. She will be fondly remembered for her warm and caring demeanor.
