Judith McNally
1946-2025
It is with profound sadness that her family announces the passing of
Judith Ann McNally(Hansen). She passed away peacefully with family t
her side at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB on March
31, 2025 at the age of 79. She was the beloved daughter of Maylon and
Marietta(Beaumaster) Hansen.
She is survived by her two children, Debbie Cyr (Raymond) and Tim
McNally (Nancy) as well as her four siblings: Dale Hansen, Mary Davis,
Herrick Hansen (Marg) and Greg Hansen (Jackie). But her greatest pride
and joys were her only Grandson Joey Cyr and Great Granddaughter
Abigail Comeau-Cyr, whom she called her Dolly. She is also survived by
many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins and
extended family.
She was predeceased by her loving parents Maylon and Marietta,
brother-in-law Gary Davis and sister-in-law Judy Hansen.
Mom was known for her cooking in younger years, cooking for many years
at the 40 acres and Mavis Bake Shop, now Marys Bake Shop. Her cinnamon
buns would fly off the shelves. She was a former member of the CWL,
President of The Homecoming Committee which she did with extreme pride
even after being wheelchair bound from a rare muscle disorder that
slowly took her ability to walk and do many tasks, but did not stop
her from using her talking skills, crafting, farming on Farmtown or
many scrabble or word games on the computer.
Her family was her world. She loved to host many a birthday party, or
any excuse for a chance to gather and eat as a family. Her biggest joy
though was Christmas. She turned her home into a Christmas Wonderland
and of course many Christmas Eve parties with family, friends, food
and fun.
There will be no visitation or funeral as per her wishes. So instead
please take the time to spend with your family. Go have a meal, a cup
of tea and a muffin or play a game of phase 10 with your loved ones.
This would be her wish for everyone to just enjoy your family and
friends. We ask that this Christmas you buy an ornament or Christmas
decoration and pass on to a friend or family in her memory.
Lastly her family would like to thanks the CVCVB for the homecare she
was given over the many years so that she could remain in her home.
Thanks to DR. Bell for the many house calls and the care you gave her.
Finally thank you to the staff of 2 East and 2 North at the Upper
River Valley Hospital for your wonderful care during her 5 week stay
with you.
