Judith Leslie Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Judith Ann Leslie announce her passing on January 17, 2025 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on July 11th, 1951, she and her brother Larry were “Irish Twins”. She was the daughter of the late Percy and Mary (Brown) Leslie.
For many years, Ann ran an appliance business in Texas. After the passing of her husband Charles Moore ,she and her sister Amazine made the decision to leave Texas and return home to Willow Grove. Once home, her caring nature prompted her to become a homecare worker, at which she excelled at and met many wonderful people. She loved fishing, gardening and road trips to anywhere with her sister Amazine, with whom she lived with for over 35 years.
She also became known as the “Warden” of the mountain and kept everyone in check. Her laughter and welcoming nature will be greatly missed.
Annie is survived by brothers Stephen, Allison “Reid” (Leslie Ann), sisters Amazine Scott, Jean MacKenzie and sister/niece Laurie Gardner. Along with many nieces and nephews and her favorite nephew, Tony Jefferson.
Along with her parents and husband, Annie was predeceased by sister Agnes Roche brothers Frank, Percy, Larry and Barry, brothers-in-law Andrew MacKenzie, Henry Scott, Réal Couillard and nephew Robb Costello.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424. At Annie’s request there will be no funeral services. Donations to Romero House or a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
