OWL – Juanita was the most loving, caring, compassionate woman on mother earth. She was the definition of selfless, always grateful proud Ojibwe woman she lived her life the best she could under every circumstance life through at her. Never once did she back down or falter in her beliefs or her love, She loved all her children (lance Owl, Matthew Owl, Simla Owl, Tiffany Owl, Richard Berak) with everything she had whether in bad times or good times, the love was always there and fair. If she could help in any way she would. She talked to everyone and troubled no one always greeting everyone the same, whether she knew them or not. She had a way with people and animals she made friends with everyone she met and both people and animals alike felt comfortable around her whether animal or person they all would approach her and she treated everything and everyone with kindness. A mountain of knowledge and stories a language speaker she had so much to offer and she willing did just that she would Offer anything and everything she could. The world is truly at a loss…but in our culture and in our teachings she is not going but truly on her next stage in life, so we must celebrate and honour her life and journey. She did everything she possibly could here now it’s her time to continue her journey and continue to help and continue with her guidance in the next stage of her life. What I have to say is I love you very much mom and I am truly grateful for the time I had and still have with you and I’ll always honour everything you have taught me. Job well done
