Obituary of Joyce Marjorie Hiscock
It is with great sadness that we, the family of Joyce Marjorie Hiscock announce,her passing on March 10, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Kentville, NS, on March 15, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ralph James Lloyd and Gladys Elyne (Fredericks) Ward.
Joyce is survived by her children, Carole Anne Harris (Brian), Cecil Hiscock and Angela Gravel (Dany); grandchildren, Jesse James Hiscock, Kandice Rose Hiscock, Raymond Daniel Joseph Bourguignon, Bruce Everett Joseph Bourguignon, Joel Denis Gravel, Kasyndra Mai O’Kane, Brondyn Leigh Gravel and Payten Jade Gravel; several great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Ester Sweet; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joyce leaves behind her beloved cats, Jasmine, Brier and Nutmeg.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Cecil; grandson, Cecil; brother, Robert Ward; sisters, Doris Gates and Pauline Roise Corbett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Oromocto Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held from the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel, 108 Winnebago Street, Oromocto, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 2 pm with Dr. Rev. Perry Hanley officiating. A reception will take place in the adjoining room following the service. Donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to SoldierOn.ca, as her late husband, Cecil was a CAF Vet which they both supported.
