Joyce Elaine Boshis Obituary
Passed away at Billings Court Manor in Burlington on April 4, 2025. Beloved wife to Jim for 50 years. Loving mother to Chris (Cheryl) Boshis. Predeceased by parents William and Margaret Hunter, and brother Dennis Maguire. Joyce will be missed by all who were touched by her infectious, kindhearted nature.
Wife, mother, aunt, and the fiercest of friends to everyone she met. Her thoughts were always about others, and spending time with her family (even a simple Sunday dinner) was always something she anticipated and celebrated. She had a very strong love for music, art (Thomas Kinkade being one of her favourite artists), was an avid dancer in her youth, and she always cherished the simple and joyful things in life. Her inherent kindness, her thoughtfulness, and her smiles will always be what is remembered best about her.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
