Joshua Devlin Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Born in Toronto on October 20, 1970, Joshua James Gordon Devlin of Toronto was in his 55th year.
Beloved son of Mary Devlin (Tony Archer) of Leith. Cherished brother of Peter Devlin (Becky) of Owen Sound, and stepbrother of Jonathon Archer of Montreal and Candice Archer of Montreal. Josh will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially Tom Carruthers.
Predeceased by his father David Devlin.
Josh was known for his love of cars, biking, music and horror movies. More importantly, family was important to Josh, and he loved his family dearly. He was a wonderful son, brother and loyal friend.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at March of Dimes Meynell House who loved and cared for Josh over the past 15 years. They would also like to thank the staff at Toronto General Hospital for the care they provided to Josh.
A memorial service to celebrate Josh’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Spring interment will take place in Leith Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to March of Dimes Canada – Meynell House (Cheques Only Please) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online condolences can be sent to Josh’s family by visiting his memorial at www.woodfuneralhome.ca.
