JOSEPH MIRASLOW KUZYK
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jerry on February 25, 2025.
Jerry was predeceased by his wife Joan in 2017 and by his parents Steve and Polly Kuzyk.
He was born in Ste. Rose Du Lac, Manitoba in 1941, Jerry completed his schooling in Kelwood, Manitoba. He is the last of 16 children.
His wife Joan was paralyzed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1984 and then was plagued with Cancer in 2012. Jerry took care of Joan 24/7 with extreme care and love.
Jerry was employed by the Hudson’s Bay Company for 48 years in retail sales.
He loved music and played violin and his favorite Gretsch guitar in his spare time. He began to play in his older brother’s orchestra at th age of 12.
Most importantly, Jerry worked at his dedication and service to his God, Jehovah, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for decades serving as an elder in the congregation he was associated with for 40 years. His 2 favorite scriptures regarding the resurrection and living in a paradise earth are JOB 14:15 where it says “You will call and I myself shall answer you”, and REV 21:4, “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, death will be no more, the former things have passed away.”
The family want to say a special thanks to everyone for the visits, cards, and flowers.
Thanks to the medical team and nursing staff for their kindness and attentiveness.
