Obituary of Joseph Franze
Surrounded by his loving family Giuseppe “Joe” Franze unexpectedly passed away at LHSC Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Franze for 46 years. Loving father of Antonette (Sergio) Alves and Frank (Bela) Franze. Cherished nonno of Sienna, Mason, Audrina and Maddix. Will be greatly missed by his siblings Guilio (Greta) Franze, Aggie Senese and Dominic Franze, in-laws Mary Zangari, Teresa Maisano, Frances (Alfredo) Fortese, Tony Palmieri, Sam (Cathy) Zangari, Frank (Martha) Zangari and Nick (Mriana) Zangari and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Antonia and Frank Franze, siblings Tony (Carol) Franze and Mary Montania, in-laws Giovanni Zangari and Cathy Palmien. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Dearness Home.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Prayers at 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10:00am. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Joe’s memory made to the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners – Middle would be appreciated by the family.
