C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Jonathan “Jo” Houle. Né le 8 septembre 2006, Jonathan nous a quittés bien trop tôt à l’âge de 18 ans le samedi 14 décembre 2024, à la suite d’un accident tragique. Il sera pour toujours aimé et bien-aimé par ses parents; Daniel Houle (Cindy Heard) et Anick Dumouchel Harris (Jeff Harris). Frère admiré de Victoria Houle (Scott MacDonald), Danik Houle (Hannah Tubman) et Xavier Houle (Jade Paquette). Jonathan sera grandement manqué par ses nièces : Amber et Ariah ainsi que son neveu Nayson. Il laisse dans le deuil ses grands-parents Ginette Lapointe et Gilles Dumouchel. Précédé par ses grands-parents Réal Houle et Ginette Gouin. Beau-frère spécial de Kyle Harris (Natasha Poirier), Savannah Harris (Zach Trudeau), Jessica Savoy et Emily Savoy. Petit ami bien-aimé de Trinity Chasles.
Jonathan était une personne remarquable, connue pour sa personnalité extravertie, sa force, son intelligence et sa gentillesse. Il aimait profondément sa famille et avait une passion pour le hockey qui lui apportait de la joie dans la vie. Sa nature bienveillante et son amour pour ceux qui l’entouraient ont eu un impact durable sur toutes les personnes qu’il a rencontrées. On se souviendra de Jo non seulement pour ses réalisations, mais aussi pour la chaleur et la lumière qu’il a apportées à la vie de ses proches et de tous ceux qui l’entouraient.
En l’honneur de Jo, veuillez vous joindre à nous pour une célébration de sa vie le samedi 21 décembre 2024 à la Maison Funéraire Hayes, 134 rue Centre, Shawville, Québec à 13h, suivi d’une réception. Des dons commémoratifs pour l’hôpital pour enfants de l’est de l’Ontario (CHEO) ou l’équipe de hockey des Lions de Shawville seraient grandement appréciés.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jonathan “Jo” Houle. Born on September 8th 2006, Jonathan left us far too soon at the age of 18 on Saturday, December 14th 2024, as a result of a tragic accident. He will be forever loved and cherished by his parents; Daniel Houle (Cindy Heard) and Anick Dumouchel Harris (Jeff Harris). Beloved brother of Victoria Houle (Scott MacDonald), Danik Houle (Hannah Tubman) and Xavier Houle (Jade Paquette). Jonathan will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephew; Amber, Ariah, and Nayson. Survived by his grandparents Ginette Lapointe, Gilles Dumouchel and predeceased by his grandparents Réal Houle and Ginette Gouin. Special step brother of Kyle Harris (Natasha Poirier), Savannah Harris (Zach Trudeau), Jessica Savoy and Emily Savoy. Loved boyfriend of Trinity Chasles.
Jonathan was a remarkable individual, known for his outgoing personality, strength, intelligence and kindness. He cherished his family deeply and had a passion for hockey that brought joy to his life. His caring nature and love for those around him made a lasting impact on everyone he met. Jo will be remembered not just for his accomplishments, but for the warmth and light he brought to the lives of his loved ones and all those around him.
In honour of Jo, please join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 21st , 2024 at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec at 1 p.m. followed by a reception. Memorial contributions for The Children’s Hospital (CHEO) and the Shawville Lions Hockey team would be appreciated.
