Obituary of JOHN BRUCE ROSS
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John Bruce Ross, 77, on February 16, 2025 at St. Boniface Hospital.
Born on May 16, 1947, in Ottawa. John was a talented individual with a wide variety of skills, including advertising, general contracting, and electronics repair. He enjoyed the outdoors, relaxing by a fire, and loved fishing. His love of animals, especially dogs, was well known.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Shane, as well as Shane’s mother, Colleen; his siblings Katherine (Ed), Bill (Donna), Aline, Paul (Shannon), and Debbie (Jeff); his many nieces and nephews and other friends and family. He was predeceased by his parents, June and William.
John’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and physicians at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the care and compassion given to John and his family.
