John Shorey of Grand Falls, NB, passed away unexpectedly at his home
on April 22, 2025.
John was born in Grand Falls, NB, on April 9, 1954. He was the son of
Ruth Currie and the late Roland Shorey. Besides his mother, who lives
in Grand Falls, NB, John leaves behind his wife Rachel Shorey (Dowe);
his daughters, Jessica Shorey (Robert Bennett) and Shawna Shorey, both
of Saint John, NB; her grandchildren, Isaac, Rachel, and Sloane; his
sisters, Cleo Cyr (Art) and Laura Scott (David), both of Saint John,
NB; his brothers, Allen Shorey (Cindy) of Fort McMurray, AB, James
Shorey (Shelley) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Respecting John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral held.
Interment will be in the Currie Cemetery, Tilley, NB, at a later
date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
