John’s Obituary
O’TOOLE, John – Passed away suddenly in the presence of his loving wife at home in Conception Harbour on Monday, January 6th, 2025.
Predeceased by his parents: Catherine (Kitty) and Timothy; mother-in-law Madeline, and father-in-law Alex; brother Timothy; brothers-in-law: Vick and Pad; sister-in-law Shirley; and deceased members of the O’Toole and Corrigan families.
Leaving to mourn his beloved family, his loving wife Patsy; son Jonathan (Mikaila), and his pride and joy his grandson John Michael; sisters: Helen, Theresa, Catherine (Joe), and Shirley (Cyril); sisters-in-law: Betty (Bob), Donna, and Kim (Dave); brothers-in-law: Albert (Edwina), Fergus (Frances), Joe (Sharlene), and David (Rosalee). Also, numerous nieces and nephews whom John adored, especially Joey, Patrick, Trevor, Austin and Kathleen.
John was a proud member of the Boilermakers Local 203 and the Ironworkers Local 764.
Visitation will take place at Flaherty’s Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, Wednesday, January 8th, 10:00am – 9:00pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, 2:00pm at St. Anne’s Church, Conception Harbour.
Inurnment to follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Conception Harbour.
Reception to follow at the Marian Hall, Conception Harbour.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
