We regret to announce the passing of John Joseph Thomas on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at his residence in Gabarus Lake.
Born May 19, 1947, in Deep Cove, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (MacIntyre) Thomas.
John is survived by several cousins and close friends.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by his brothers, Danny, Robbie Lawrence and Peter.
Funeral service will be held in Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 14th at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment will take place in St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Grand Mira at a later date.
