Guay, Walter John “Johnny” – passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the age of 81 years.
Johnny Guay of Pembroke, son of the late Cecil Guay Sr. and Olivine Demers (nee Landry); and stepson of the late Arnold Demers. Dear brother of Cecil Guay (Elizabeth), Winnifred Monk (late John), Maureen Stencell (Larry), Rita Ward (late Joe), Wayne Demers, Danny Demers (Jody) & Lorne Bergeron (Dorothy); and predeceased by Hugh Guay (Dorothy), Frank Guay (late Lorraine), Larry Guay (Bev), Doreen Ferguson (late Gerry), & Pauline Beaton (Carl). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Country Haven and at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, as well as Father Peter Do, for their excellent care of Johnny.
A Graveside Committal Service will be held at St. Columba’s Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.
