With a heavy heart we announce Dad’s passing on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Karlen Anderson (2010). Dear father of Patrick (2008) Heather, Debra Shanley (John), James (Bonnie), Brenna Anderson (Ross). Cherished Grandpa of Joshua, Benjamin, Codie, Sydney (Daryl), Deanna, Johnathan, Reid (Joanie), Wayne, Maddie (DJ). Proud Great-grandfather to Kingston, Ariah, Harper, Myra, Karlen, Mia, Princeton, Amelia. Remembered by his brother Alexander. Predeceased by George, Jimmy and William. John will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. John and Karlen immigrated from Aberdeen Scotland in 1966 and made Canada their home to raise the family. John was a simple proud family man.
A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
