Obituary of Joe Walsh
Peacefully at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge, with his daughter by his side on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 the death occurred of Michael Joseph Gerard Walsh, of Georgetown, age 82 years.
Loving father of Ulanya Walsh Murdock (Kirk) and Leon Walsh (Pam). Cherished grandfather of Jacob, Isaac, Emmalea and Lucas. Joe will be missed by siblings Peter (Deborah) and Doris Simmons (Paddy). Brother-in-law of Mary Lou Walsh. Predeceased by his daughter Tammy Walsh; his parents Earl and Agnes (Donahoe) Walsh and siblings Eleanor, Bernard, John and Sr. Emily.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 10:00 am. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-7 pm. Interment will take place later at Georgetown Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
