Joanne Zena Lewicky
It is with deep sorrow we announce that Joanne Zena Lewicky passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 84 years.
Joanne is survived by her sister, Rose Gaba. She was predeceased by her parents, Dan and Irene Lewicky; brothers, John Lewicky and William Lewicky; sister, Margaret Lewicky; brother-in-law, Bill Gaba; and sister-in-law, Margaret Lewicky.
Thank you to the staff at the Edmonton General Hospital and Grey Nuns Community Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Joanne.
A Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street NW, Edmonton. Basilian Fathers officiating with interment in St. Joachim’s Cemetery.
In lieu of other tributes, please make donations to St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 3B9.
