DeBoer, Johanna Grietje “Joanne”
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a dear wife, mom, Oma, and great-Oma. Peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the age of 90, she was taken home to our Lord and Saviour. We are grateful for all the great times that we could have shared with her. Amazing memories that we will cherish forever. Beloved wife of Syd for 61 amazing years of Marriage. Beloved mother to †Mike Deboer, Carolann and Dirk Zwart, Marlene and Jarome Lochkrin. Cherished Oma of Amanda and Nathan Hensen, Matthew and Rachel Zwart, Alex and Cayleigh Zwart, †Kurtis DeBoer, Anika Lochkrin, and Lexi Lochkrin. Amazing great-Oma of Jackson Hensen, Ava, Hannah, Dylan and Rosalie Zwart, and Benjamin Zwart. Dear sister of Roel and †Nini, Teus and Yo, and †To and †Hen. Special “Tante” to John Wassenaar.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 420 Hwy 5, Dundas, where the Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to precede the service at 10 a.m. at Mt Zion Cemetery.
Psalm 23:6: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
