It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joan Maryann Hubbard, on January 14, 2025 in her 86th year, peacefully at home. Predeceased by her loving daughter Cindy and her grandson Jesse.
Retired for many years from W.L. Smith & Associates. Joan enjoyed retirement spending time with John, travelling to visit extended family on the east coast, Australia and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survived by her loving spouse, John of 53 years.
Much loved mother of Michael (Sue), Kelly (Ivan), stepmother to Terry (Sandi), Bruce (Judy), and mother-in-law of Rob. Loving sister to Joe (Patricia) and fondly remembered by nieces Joanne, Karen, Joannie, and the late Linda.
Joan will be deeply missed by her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Melissa, Justin (Christie), Jaime, Hailey (Aaron), Sabrina, Taylor, Aiden, Connor, Tyson, Jace, Halle, Harlow, Hudson, and many more. She will be missed by many, including her dear friend Mary of many years.
Friends will be received at a Celebration of Life with refreshments at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Saturday, January 25th from 12:00 – 3:00 pm.
