It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving mother Joan on March 14, 2025 at 92 years old. Reunited in the loving arms of her beloved husband Gino (February 3, 2025). Much loved mother of Laurie and Ron Lemmon and Tim Chiesa. Cherished Nana to Kenny (Ava), Christine, Carrie-Anne (Jesse), Erin (Allan), Adam (Amy), and Kevin (Kayla). Great-Nana to Alexis, Lia, Ben, Aden, Hayden and Wrenley. Pre-deceased by her parents Frederick and Ramona Barnes and her siblings, Fred Barnes, Marjorie Robinson, Joyce Scislowski, her twin Jean Vivier and Ronald Barnes. She will also be missed by Lise Morin and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus and Dr. Cassidy for his care and compassion for both our Mom and Dad.
If you so desire, memorial donations in Joan’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor or Transition to Betterness would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 21, 2025 from 9:30am until a Celebration of Joan’s Life at 11am at
