Jo-Anne Sherriff Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jo-Anne Marie (McLaughlin) Sherriff on February 24, 2025, at Bobby’s Hospice at the age of 67. Born in Saint John, NB, on December 4, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Barbara Mills.
She is survived by her children Tammy Clark (Luke), Wendy Mazerolle (Mark), Stacey Lyons (Darron); honorable mention daughters Michelle Blizzard and Sabrina Dexter; grandchildren Ryan “Little Man” Mazerolle, Dylan “My Boy” McLaughlin, Mitchel “Squirt” Mazerolle, Haylie “My Gorgeous” Clark, Olivia “Beautiful” Mazerolle, Nishtha Kapur, Khaidyannah, Leighah-Rhei, Wyhett, Ghriffon, Autumn; great-grandchild Paisley; brother Joe Carvell; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her husband Terrance Sherriff.
Jo-Anne was a social butterfly, her favorite thing to do was spending time in Kings Square with her husband and daughters, going to Charlotte St Bakery in the city market, trips to the casino with her husband, going for adventures around town with her grandchildren, she loved going to AJ’s for a good meal and she had a new found love for Cockatoo’s.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Bobby’s Hospice for their kindness, care and compassion.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (506-646-2424), Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed.
Donations in Jo-Anne’s memory may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
