James Warren Brownlee, age 66 of Stratford, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends on Tuesday, July1, 2025.
Born in Kitchener, son of the late Robert and Harriett (Sheppard) Brownlee. Jim was predeceased by the of love of his life, Judith Ann (Stone) Brownlee on March 15, 2023. Proud and loving father of Troy Brownlee and Lisa (Steve) Bart. Grandfather of Bridgette (Noah), Damien, Payton and Kane. Jim will be remembered by his siblings Dennis (Marlene), Rob (Sharon), Scott (Tammy), Sue, his brothers-in-law Ted Stevens, Barry (Jody) Stone and his sister-in-law Chris (Sandro) Sgarbossa and his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife and his parents Jim was predeceased by siblings Lynda Stevens, Debbie Brownlee in infancy and Cheryl Brownlee.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest with his wife Judith in Avondale Cemetery.
