Jeffrey Paul “Jeff” Nunn
1953-2025
Jeffrey Paul
“Jeff” Nunn passed away suddenly at home on February
14th, 2025. Born in Wolfville, March 21, 1953,
he was the son of Thomas Joseph and Phyllis Nunn. In his earlier
years, Jeff grew up in Ottawa, he worked at Fine’s Flowers
and, was a handyman at the Copeland Estates for many years. Jeff was a
true animal lover, especially his cats, and treated them like his
children. And he sure liked to make people laugh. We could often find
Jeff out watering or feeding the cows that came over to his property
line, and he was always taking pictures of them. He loved being in
touch with his family and friends, whether it be by Facebook or his
nightly phone calls. He emailed his friend Craig Goldsmith every
night, hardly ever missing a night. He spent countless hours at the
kitchen window overlooking Casey Corner, and called himself
“the best security system around”, as he
didn’t miss much. Jeff was a world traveler and told stories
of the places he had been in his life, such as Dubai, Vietnam, China,
to name a few. Anyone who had ever been to Jeff’s home knew
he was a collector of items, and he always had a story of where he got
it and how he got it home. He was a fixer-upper person, who liked to
take nothing and make it into something, he always had a vision of
what it could turn into. He is survived by his soul mate and best
friend, Jeffrey Baltzer, they were inseparable for 15 years. Also
survived by his brothers, Brian Long (Debbie), South Alton; and
Charlie Zinck, Halifax; sisters, Connie Nunn and Kathryn Nunn, both of
Ottawa; and Glenda Huska, Jamaica; cousins, Barb Henderson and Rob
Wells; as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no
visitation by request, and a private scattering of ashes and
celebration of life will take place at a later date. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville.
