It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jeannine Babineau (Arcand) at the age of 76 years. Daughter of the late Joseph Arcand and of late Laurenza Arcand (Henri) of Cache Bay, Ont. Dear wife of Marcel Babineau for 56 years and mother of cherished sons, Marcel Jr. (Chantal) and Jean-Paul Babineau (Bonnie). Jeannine was predeceased by her 2 young children Daniel and Monique Babineau. Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by her elder sister Rachel Seguin-Lauzon ( Arcand) (wife of late Raymond Seguin and late Alfred Lauzon), her elder brother Raymond (Yvonne), and younger brothers Michel (Jean), Claude-Marie and Paul Arcand. Predeceased by her brothers Roger, Pierre and Joseph Arcand. Jeannine was always a loving and caring person, always ready to help someone. She supported her husband Marcel in the “Project Angel” since its inception. Her kindness was reflected amongst all. She will be missed by many family members including her nephews and nieces and bingo friends. Her loving heart of gold will be remembered by all. Babineau family wishes to extend their most sincere gratitude to the staff of Orangeville Scotiabank First St., Paramedics and Orangeville Hospital, Headwaters Health Care workers for their excellent care provided. A Celebration of Life will be held in May. May her soul rest in peace.
A tree will be planted in memory of Jeannine in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
