Jeannette Parker passed away peacefully, at age 87, surrounded by her loving daughters, Ann and Laurie, as she went home to the Lord. She was the beloved wife of her late husband, Alex Parker; devoted mother to Susan, Ann, Laurie, Donald, and Danielle. A cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a friend to many.
She spent her later years on the family farm with Ann and her husband Keith Herman, her devoted caregivers. Surrounded by the land she loved; she found peace and comfort in their care.
Jeannette lit up every room with her warmth, witty humor, and unwavering kindness. She dedicated her life to helping those in need— in women’s shelters, the sick, and the poor—always offering love and support, and much more. Even in pain, she remained cheerful and full of grace.
Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the deep faith she instilled in all who knew her. She loved Jesus with a great passion.
In her honor, please pay it forward with an act of kindness —help someone in need, offer a smile, or lend a hand, just as Jeannette always cheerfully did.
