Jean Rose Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Jean Marie Rose announce her passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL on Sunday, May 25th, 2025.
Jean leaves with so many loving memories her son, Jamie (Wanda Pelley); grandchildren, Stacey, Compton, Morgan, and Patrick; sisters, Dot, Pauline, and Kay; brother, Danny; sister-in-law, Millie Melee; daughter-in-law, Jackie Rose; and three great-grandchildren, Mia, Ela and Rya. She was also the adored “Aunt Jean” to many nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her husband, Pat and son, Billy; her sisters, Maureen and Betty; and brother, Eugene.
Jean was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and loyal friend. Her devotion to and care for Pat and Billy during their battle with Huntington Disease was exemplary. Her kindness, compassion and love for her family knew no boundaries. Her two boys were her life’s purpose and she loved them both beyond measure.
As per Jean’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation scheduled at this time. A family funeral service will take place at a later date.
