It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jay Bondy who left this world peacefully, surrounded by love on April 4, 2025 at 69 years of age. Born in Windsor, he was the eldest of Ernest and Aline Bondy’s seven children: Mitch (Suzanne), Marc (Mary), Louis, Denise Meloche (Chris), Bernard, and Rosaire (Tammy).
He was the adored fun uncle of Brandon (Marianna), Melanie (Rob), Matthew (Sara), Marshall (Kasandra), Mackenzie (Ian) Clark, Madeleine (Jack), Chas, Troy (Marissa), Trevor, the late Lauren (2017), and Nicole.
Beloved great-uncle of Macallan, Easton, Evan, Nolie, Mei, Theo, Emery, Travis, Charlie, Zoe, Blair, and Brooks.
Jay had a deep love for the family farm and a strong connection to his Bondy roots. He was a wonderful neighbour and friend, always ready to lend a hand — to build or fix just about anything. He took special pride in making his own home shine—inside and out. Despite the challenges of the past two years, Jay never stopped sharing his warm and unforgettable smile with all who visited. He will be deeply missed.
As Jay would have wanted, a private family funeral and interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery has taken place.
In kindness, memorial donations to the Lauren Bondy Scholarship Fund (non-registered charity) would be appreciated by the family. Cheques payable to Lauren Bondy Scholarship Fund can be mailed in care of Families First or left at the funeral home.
Arrangements entrusted to Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841).
