Jean Mary Barton
Peacefully entered into rest, with family by her side, at St. Lawrence Lodge on Sunday March 9, 2025. Jean Mary Barton (nee Standing) of Prescott age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Barton. Loving mother to Diane Lawrence (Rick), Brian DeDekker (Melissa), Keith DeDekker (Shelley), Wayne Barton (Gail), Ron Barton (Debra) and the late Marlene Wessel. Cherished grandmother to Emilie, Katie, Allison, Paul, David, Matthew, Courtney, Hillary, Jessica, Kent, Christopher, Markie, Lindsay and several great grandchildren.
Funeral Arrangements
There will be a private family service held at a later date.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or St. John’s Anglican Church in Prescott would be greatly appreciated by the family. If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift “please notify the family.
