On February 10, 2025, Ms. Janice Pasquayak-Jackson of Saddle Lake, Alberta, passed away at the age of 44 years. She is survived by her children, Nathaniel, Samara, Marissa, Netania, Christopher Jr., River & Kingston Jackson; 3 grandchildren; father, Clifford (Carol) Pasquayak; mother-in-law, Linda Jackson (Harry); siblings, Vicky Currie, Melissa Currie, Amanda Pasquayak & Travis McGilvery; special aunties, Shirley McGinnis (Harvey), Josephine BigPlum (James), Rhonda Pasquayak-Elser (Mitch), Gloria Moosewah & Margaret Simon; numerous other relatives & friends. Janice was predeceased by her mother, Lori Dion-Pasquayak; sister, Jasmine Pasquayak; maternal grandmother, Helen Dion; paternal grandparents, Prosper & Mary Pasquayak. A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) & Wednesday, February 18 & 19 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
