Jane Gabriel Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Frances Gabriel on Friday, March 7th, 2025 at Bobby’s Hospice at the age of 69. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Fran Middleton and wife of the late Harold Gabriel.
She is survived by her children Andrew Gabriel (Amanda), Mary Gabriel (Steve Ambrose); siblings Dale Greer (Charlotte), Terrance Greer, Bev Simpson (Cedric), Susan Doucette (Ernie), Barbara Thorne (Eugene), Betty Perry (Dan), Patty Bent, Pam Robichaud (Steve) and Karen Brooks (Dick); special sisters-in-law Chris Gabriel and Linda Stewart; grandchildren Jordan, Brendan, Tink (Hailey) and her great-grandson Myles.
Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her siblings Ronnie Middleton and Cheryl Greer.
Jane was into crafts of all kinds, she adored people being a social butterfly. She was always organizing family get togethers, family always came first and Christmas was her favorite time of year. Wherever she went, joy surely followed.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (506-646-2424). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 from 5 pm – 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery, 200 Westmorland Road, Saint John.
