James “Jim” Aubrey Atchison – passed away suddenly on Thursday November 7, 2024 at Bay Haven Care Community at the age of 63. Jim was a loving son of the late William Atchison and the late Helen (nee Flood). Cherished brother of Mary-Ellen Colpitts (Murray) and Steve Atchison (Deb). He will be greatly missed by his nieces Michele Taylor (Mark), Alisha Keeling (Tristan), Stephanie Atchison (John) and his great nieces and nephews, Preston Taylor, Jackson Taylor, Rosalena Keeling and Rory Keeling.
Jim was born and raised in Owen Sound, later moving to London and very happy to return to Collingwood, to be closer to his loving family. Jim was a resident of Bay Haven Care Community for the past 14 months, where he enjoyed his time with fellow residents and staff. He enjoyed fishing trips, comic books, exploring the outdoors bird watching and spending time with his family. Jim always shared a smile and loved to laugh with those around him. The family wish to express their gratitude and thanks for the care Jim received from the wonderful staff at Bay Haven.
