James Howard Hilton (Jim) passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, at the age of 71, after a long struggle with Crohn’s Disease.
Jim is pre-deceased by his parents, Howard and Edna (nee Reid). Survived by his brother Gord. Jim will be fondly remembered by his Aunt Elaine (Gary), Uncle Gord, and many cousins. Best friends of Glen and Elizabeth Hall, Don Bozek & Bob, and Lynette Lawrence and their daughter Daphne.
Born in Montreal, Jim pursued sales careers in Quebec, Ontario, and BC before retiring in Chipman. Jim was an avid reader, photographer, and fisherman and enjoyed nothing better than a great cup of coffee and a good book.
Jim’s family wish to thank the awesome team of doctors and nurses on the 3rd Floor East of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their compassionate care to ensure dignity in his final days.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of Jim’s life will take place later this year.
In lieu of flowers, donation to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be appreciated.
