James Edward Knudson
March 12th, 1943 – January 29th, 2025
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the peacefully passing of James Knudson, at the Bayshore Transitional Care Unit in Amherstview, on Wednesday January 29th, 2025, at the age of 81 years
.
Jim is survived by his wife Elizabeth Knudson (nee Laming). Dear father of James & Chris Knudson. Proud step-father of Danielle Hogan, Royal Metcalfe (Mary Anne), and Laurie Richard (Nathan). Adored grandfather of Alyssa, Megan, Skylar, Charlotte, Avery, Piper, Lily Anne, Addison, Isabella and Cashton. Survived by siblings, Gary Knudson and Judy Knudson. Predeceased by two brothers, John & Reg Knudson, and two sisters-in-law, Claire & Elaine Knudson.
Also predeceased by his parents, William Knudson and the former Dorothy Stirling. Jim will be fondly remember by Dan Hogan.
Special thanks to the staff at the Bayshore TCU in Amherstview & Bayshore PSW’S.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated, at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, Prescott, on Wednesday February 12th, 2025 at 11 a.m. Celebration of Life at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Hall from 12 to 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cardinal.
Donations may be made in Jim’s name, to the Sacred Heart Church, Cardinal.
