Lunt, James Alexander
Died peacefully on Friday February 21, 2025 at his home with his beloved partner Carole at his side at the age of 90. Jim of Wasaga Beach, beloved partner of Carole Hill for over 40 years. Jim will also be missed by Carole’s son Trevor. Born in Toronto to British parents, Jim strived for excellence. He graduated from the University of Toronto Engineering school, a profession that took him around the world overseeing civil engineering projects. He and Carole also travelled for pleasure across Europe but Provence, France was their favorite. Jim was a kind man with a quirky sense of humour. He composed clever limericks, adored his original Ford Mustang convertible and was a member of the Nature League which seeks ways to protect the local environment and which hikes during the spring and fall, snowshoes in the winter. Private arrangements at this time. If desired, a donation to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
