LEEUWENBURG, Jacob – passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Thursday, January 23, 2025 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Elsie (nee Wilson). Loving father of Ed (Christine) and Richard (Ludi). Cherished grandfather of Jacob (Pat), Riley (Cam), Hannah (Darius) and Matthew and loving great grandfather of Beau. Dear brother of Sjanie (the late Gerry), Jasper (Liz) and Fred (Jenneke) and brother-in-law of Mary-Lou, Jean (Bob) and Joyce. He will be missed by Blake and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a service to celebrate his life in the Cudney Chapel at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
