YOUNG, Jack Donald – passed away at the Norview Lodge Nursing Home, Simcoe on Monday, March 31st, 2025 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Norma (nee Law) Young (2017). Loving father & grandfather of Laurie Paulmert (Mark) of Simcoe, their daughter Emily; and Michelle Young (Mike Wall) of Langton. Loving brother of Lynn Ryan (Dave Smith) & Diane Hesketh, all of Simcoe. Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by his parents, the late Harry & Annie Young and by his sisters Dorothy, Shelley, Pat & Mona. Friends are invited to share their memories of Jack with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with LPM Erna Greenfield officiating. Private interment: Walsh United Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to donate in memory of Jack are asked to consider the Norview Lodge (cheques payable to Norfolk County) or the Simcoe & District Humane Society.
