Irvin Rodney Scott Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Irvin Rodney Scott on December 28, 2024 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Irvin was a kind and friendly man who would always lend a helping hand to anyone he could and would give his last dollar to anyone to help them. Irvin worked odd jobs to make a living for his family. He enjoyed participating in healing ceremonies and going fishing for walleye with friends and family.
Irvin was predeceased by his parents Eva Scott and Bert Parisian, his children Roselee Scott, Terry Acoby, and his sister Arlene Parisian-Sinclair.
Irvin is survived by his son Bertrand Scott, brothers Sidney Parisian, Kenny O. Scott, John B. Scott, his nieces Isabel Pelly, Hope Pelly and his nephews Clifford Acoby and Brandon Scott.
Traditional Wake Service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Center in Swan Lake, Manitoba beginning at 4:00 p.m. Traditional Service and Feast will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Center in Swan Lake, Manitoba.
