Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday January 19, 2025 at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston.
Beloved wife of the late Charlie Venables. Loved mother of Shirley Ciossich (Joe), Pat Kerr (Wayne) and Bob Venables. Loving grandma of Jessica (Mike), Jim (Deb), Shelley (Steve), Patrick (Laura), Mike, Brittany, Simon and great grandma of Cooper, Hunter, Sawyer, Denver, Evan, Tyler, Kieran, Mave and predeceased by Spencer. Dear sister of the late Norman Crooke (Ruth) and aunt to Wayne (Bev), Brian (Diane), Kevin (Brenda). Irene will be remembered by her extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Friday January 24, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until time of remembrances at 12 noon. Reception to follow. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice or Stevenson Memorial Hospital Fdn. would be appreciated.
