She was predeceased by husband of 60 years Albert Roy Elliott, parents Charles and May Trounsell, brother George of North Bay, sister Marion Sasseville of Lively. Survived by brother Donald of British Columbia.
Irene retired in 1986 as Manager of Zellers store in Barrie.
She will be remembered with love and affection by her many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. If desired, a donation in her name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
